We invented the REMIX!

Well despite popular belief i do go to uni, what do i do exactly? i don't really know myself. Technically its media but i have such little idea of whats going on that i have no idea how i have made it to the end of second year, let alone the beginning of third ( jesus christ the real world soon, nooo). To celebrate our end of year, the media second year peeps had a party thing, not just any party thing however.... a REMIX PARTY THING! Why a remix? it had something to do with putting all our works together into these strange installation things, to tell you the truth we weren't really told what to do. Yet somehow everyone pulled out some pretty impressive stuff.

how did photo come around?.... i dunno

on the left we have the Comehitthis crew hangin with The Adam Davies, he's pretty much the equivalent to the Jesus of Media.
And to the right is Patrick, an all around good guy who aside from being a media student is a sandwich artist ( which is heaps better than franklins guy/dude).

On the right we have me, Amelia and John ( i think that was his name, if i got it wrong i'm really sorry and i will change it). Ameila's probably the smartest person in media hands down and john is very photogenic and has a mean smile from what i can gather ( i met him that night) . I'd like to say that it was like 100 degrees in there for some reason, and though we look comfortable we were actually roasting very slowly. On the right is Jacki who plays drums which is sick, and also cops alot of my crap about Korean music ( it's catchy alright!).

BIG UPS to my group Titanium, we were the best group probably by far ( GET JEALOUS). And now for the sake of the blog i will name the people in my group by name; Cat, Lilla, Veronica, Eleni, Jorge...and the group lackey me ( now you're all famous, internet famous, the best kinda fame) Somehow we pulled out a vid and website which looked really good, and I'm pretty sure made all other media students want to change course because they realized they could never catch up. So other media students, watch your back!

Me, Cat and Lilla, missing from this pic is Eleni. Together they combined forces to make the ultimate video!!!!

The guy in the middle is Jorge and to his left is Veronica. Together we were in charge of the website and the animation for our stuff. Jorge really did the whole website, really being the lion in the Savannah which is media. And Veronica pretty much put to shame anything I had to do with animation. I'm not really sure who the other guy is but he couldn't resist the chance to be on the blog!

The guy on the right is daniel who is a big fan of radio head, so technically him and indy would get along just peachy!! (LOL).

A lot of the media peeps showed up too, a lot of free eats and dranks to be had. And yea i only had like two drinks but it seemed like i was the most drunk for some reason. Maybe its because everyone has far more modesty and dignity than i do, or it could be my Asian-ness which gives me the immunity of like a 12 year old sissy girl.

I'm really sorry for people who i didn't get a photo with or didn't mention on the blog (and there were many of you, which i feel pretty shitty for) but i will eventually get around to somehow gettin you on the blog.

My Rendition of the now classic banner.

Thanks to people on facebook as some of these photos were stolen from there, i can't help it, its just so addictiveeeeee.... And also this is like a semi big week of posts with Wu-tang, Ryans Octoba's 21st and Nas too so check it!

2 years down, 1 more to go! COMEHITTHIS!

Phasing out (8) with prez

There is no doubt that we all phase out from time to time. Whether its while driving (indy were looking at you), in conversation, on the bus/train wherever.

Personally, im a big fan of phasing out, i think its great, so great that it deserves a song. The following video is of the song 'Phasing Out' i made the other day. Im not gonna lie it gets hectic on the eyes, the idea behind the video is the things u could think about while phasing out and because your not in conversation, the speed in which u can think these things is unlimited.
(p.s every image in this video is of something, whether its a in-joke or event)
enjoy...

Random Post

Yeah this post really has no purpose. Ive just got time to kill because im on holidays for like 4months, offt.....Earlier when andy made the cozzy edition video round up, i felt like he left out one vital video which sums up cozzy pretty well so ive added it for you entertainment. I couldn't find a video of anyone doing the hook up sign at a club so i found the 2nd best thing.....

This is pretty much a night in the life of cozzy when hes not hitting up the city to do things like ask strangers to read his text messages & bank balance.

The next video is Steve Vai performing "Tender Surrender". At first i watched this video for the lulz then really liked it and wanna learn it. Watch him play as he gets full into it. He does everything from crazy shaking to eye rolling. I one day hope to be able to play this song, with the expressions and all if i ever do learn it i promise to post it up....(i gotta practice my eye rolls more)

Sankalana an untapped resource.......maybe not

Despite popular belief we here at Comehitthis are actually sophisticated patrons of only the finest arts of the most diverse cultures( gettin my old charles steez on). And even though our interests include 'greening it' and 'eye rolling' ( and for those who don't know its not the the eye rolling of sarcasm, if you sees what I'm sezzi'n offt). We're actually quite cultural probably from all the travel channel we watch, so with that being said, when given the chance to go we couldnt say no to SANKALANA 09'.

Alright straight up we were hyping this thing up for like months before hand, coming up with nearly every hypothetical that we could think of, rocking up fugged up, cozzie peaking during, and even constant comparisons that it would turn into 'Up In Smoke 09'. And so we left that night wondering what it would be like. I'm not gonna lie i was not that keen on this thing, for one thing i didn't personally know anyone there to support, and I've never been really interested in Sri Lankan culture at all. So i was hoping we'd get a little lost on the way....

we didn't

i was hoping we wouldn't see people we knew....

we did

i thought it was goin to be absolutely horrible and unbearable....

actually it wasn't

Truthfully it was actually alright, though we were fazing out a bit it was pretty interesting. The dancing was pretty nice and different from what you'd ever usually see. Big ups to these drum guys who like did these solo things for like 10 minutes straight. There was around 15 performances, sometimes you'd think they were gonna end and then suddenly it would continue for like another 30 minutes, that was pretty painful. And at the end they played the Sri Lankan national anthem, and after the Australian one... at that point every one was cbf. So yea i was wrong it was pretty good.

basically our point of view

Indy chillin with his homeboy Dylan from Deloitte.

Crez chillin with Asanga outside. Asanga is a beast at ball and a wizard of poetry

BIG UPS to RASHMIN and JANANI, they were the whole reason we went. And even though we were all the way up the back we could still see them dancing pretty hectically, it was comparable to like the lion king ( on ice, DAYUMM). Yea so they did great and if you see Rashmin at UNSW holla at him, and if you see Janani at COFA maybe do something a little less harsh then holla at her, like a polite hello maybe.

And afterward we went to Mickey D's, ate some delicious ice cream, ice coffee, and nuggets. BIG ups to the Lane Cove maccas, if your ever there late at night the demographic of people are either fobby students, keen people from the hotels opposite, or just like fried people from the offices or just from the Ryde area in general. The perfect Utopian society? Aldous Huxley would agree ( shout out to New Charles there! Doran Grae, PACHANGA!)

And until like 3 in the morning we chilled with Rushman at our house, talking everything from high school, to Religion, and even RNB specifically kc and jo jo and some whole jodeci controversy. BIG UPs to DMX........

And so Sankalana 09' ended pretty nicely, a good cultural experience for Comehithis, i swear the things we do for this blog.... COMEHITTHIS!!

Daria is a really good show guys

Told the Yees that I had a dream where I was chilling out with Daria and Jane, Crez then thought to himself 'What would we look like in Daria vision?' This is what followed. Such a talented kid!

About two weeks ago, I found out that my brother got Daria season 5 off his stoner phsyiotherapist girlfriend (or like friend, i dunno lol). I was stoked, watched that shizz, then proceeded to watch every daria episode and movie. Last time I watched it was about 4 years ago off winamp, and this time around I think that I could understand the whole thing alot better (remember what i was like 4 years ago? lol). And man, what a great thing Daria is. Some would say that Daria, Jane and anyone like them are just losers who judge away from their observation chair and don't take part in anything. But what they're too stupid to understand is, observing retards is one of the greatest pleasures of life, and it is something that should definitely be celebrated (which is exactly what Daria does). Watching bad movies for fun? (Mike owns 'Under Seige 2' on DVD). Listening to bad music for the lols? Smokin weed, smoke wizz, doin coke, drinkin beers? Who doesn't love to do all these things? Celebrate satire and sarcasm by rewatching Daria some day if youre bored. I think this site is the only one on the net that has season 2 to 5 in english - http://rutube.ru/ - just search the episode name. By the way season 1 kinda sucks.

Oh yeah btw, where the fuck is everyone? I know that Andy has facebook fever LOL. Charles is studying away like a riceboy I presume (as am I though? lol). Had a jam with Priyan yesterday. But Crez, sup man? xoxo.
