I'm soooo Uptown and mahfucka if you ain't don't go Uptown yeaaaa

Kids, on a breezy afternoon in March 2010 your uncle Andrew happened to be IPODing it when he suddenly bumped into...none other than Comehitthis broda David Lee.

Me, Crez and as mentioned above David Lee had a city day sesh, and when i mean day sesh i don't mean leaving Hunter street at like 10 in the morning when everyone's getting ready for work, I mean a day of activities and adventure. Adventure actually seemed like the word of the day as the whole thing kinda played out like a steezy version of an episode of Dora The Explorer. With me as Dora (for some reason i always end up as the female character), Crez as the equally mexican cousin Diego and David as the ever lovable Boots. Heres a pic that better demonstrates this...

BIG UP to public transport and no licenses! (where were you New Charles, WHERE!)

So we were on our way! First stop was Stanmore to get some bike parts for the new fixie. Now i'm not sure if you've ever been to Stanmore but its just past USYD and to be honest, at first glance is kinda like a old western showdown town (note the rhyme skills). But once you start lookin in the shops its pretty kool and laxed. Shout out to this burger place we had lunch/second lunch at. Good to taste real food after so many maccas binge seshs, and also it has this thing called velvet coffee which is a mix between yogurt and ice cream with biscuits on top, i know i know, you jus gotta try it.

All you need is the tumble weed and its set

Me in the bike shop with the token Jewish kid

Us fiending for a fix hard, and its cool Supreme we don't want shit for this advertising.

It had to be done

Next we went uptown to a hardware store. Now for a guy whose status in life is primarily "gudda" (shout out to New Charles) upper city is quite a nice change. With a mix of really old (or as they would say in any good pretentious institution "vintage") building mixed with the uber new its really something to take in.

Next stop was the always steezy Darlinghurst to visit Mr "what they talkin' bout" Jay Em Kay. Now if you don't remember Darlinghurst check the Cofa part 2 post here. Jays pretty much the realest nicca on the label and can cite nearly every line from Friday. Pretty much if hustlin shoes was the same as whippin up rocks you'd call Jay "Da Snowman"(JYEAHHHHHH).

We didn't have a photo with him on the day so we basically went back to the archive we gots. This pics pretty sick too as it was the day or two before we went to Wu tang (tickets in hand).

GANGSTA

At Eastwood we bumped into none other than Aran. Old normo boy and Gary to Indy's Ash....

...and also Tim He whose super nice and as Brian puts it "owner of day club in bella vista" (btw if you don't know who Brian is you'll find out later, he's a bit of a character).

Much later in the night David and Ant had a go at fixing up their fixies. While they were actually hard at work me, Crez and Twilight kicked back and discussed the immortality of lobsters and played this sick (yet very hard) skating game Ant had on his phone.

Hard at work, sick wifebeater steez

So all in all good times to be had by all. Heres a vid that basically sums up the whole adventure....

And heres another....

COMEHITHIS!

P.S. Me and Prez decided instead of covering Taylor Swift's Love Story we're gonna instead cover Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me. Either way GG!
